Pastor Jared Ellis

Pastor Jared Ellis has been in ministry since he was 16 years old. After experiencing a radical encounter with God, he spent his teen years leading worship and preaching a message of revival in churches on Long Island, NY. He went to college at Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, TX, and throughout that time, Jared was featured on CFNI’s worship album “37” leading his original song, “Show Me Your Heart.” He also served as the Assistant Director for Youth For The Nations, a summer youth conference serving over 4,000 students.

After Bible college, Jared spent his developmental years working in the local church. He served as a worship leader at Bethel Church, a youth pastor in Abilene, TX where he took a youth ministry of just seven students and grew it to over 300 students weekly, and even joined the team at Elevation Church in Charlotte, NC where he worked in youth ministry and campus development. He then spent 3 years traveling full-time as an itinerant preacher, while teaching as a professor in youth ministry at Christ For The Nations.

In 2017, Jared took on the role of replanting and leading E2 Church in Sacramento, CA as its Lead Pastor. Since then, the church has experienced exponential growth and is rapidly becoming known as the next generational church movement in Sacramento. Whether it is through his dynamic preaching, leadership wisdom, songwriting and producing music through E2 Worship or authoring his new book, “How To Become A Prayer Warrior” — Pastor Jared is passionate about using his gifts to advance the local church as God’s solution for his city and the world.

Pastor Jared is married to his beautiful wife Trinh. They serve and minister together at E2 Church.
